The Beyond Comic is a monthly printed comic for curious kids aged 5–12, packed with original comic strips, characters, stories, crafting activities, puzzles, games and drawing guides — delivered straight to your door.

The content of each issue is lovingly created by independent authors and artists.

The Beyond Comic does not use generative AI in any of its content.

A monthly subscription is £3.50 a month, and your first issue is just £1. Monthly subscriptions have a 3-month minimum term.

A yearly subscription is £39.50, paid once a year. It has a 12-month minimum term and renews automatically on the anniversary of your sign-up.

Gift subscriptions are a single one-off payment — £18.50 for 6 issues or £39.50 for 12 issues — and don't renew.

You can subscribe on our subscribe page. We also sell individual issues at local events, and any available back issues in our shop.

Each issue goes to print at the end of the month and is posted out as soon as copies arrive from the printer, so it should land on your doormat in the first week of the month.

Subscribe before the last day of the month and your first issue will be the next month's — for example, sign up by 30 October for the November issue.

Yes! Choose 'Give as a gift' when you subscribe and pick 6 or 12 issues. Add a message and we'll print it on a postcard that arrives with the first issue. You'll also get a printable gift slip with your confirmation email, so there's something to hand over on the day.

Gifts start with the next month's issue — buy before the last day of the month and the first issue arrives in the first week of the following month.

The Beyond is made for kids aged 5–12. Every issue mixes comic stories, puzzles, drawing guides and activities, so there's something for different ages and reading levels. Younger readers might enjoy sharing it with a grown-up.

Yes — each subscription is one copy of the comic, so if siblings would each like their own copy, you'll need a subscription for each.

Yes — you can update your address any time from your account dashboard.

Not at the moment — we only deliver within the UK.

Yes. Yearly subscriptions renew automatically every 12 months, and we'll charge your card for the next year. If you don't want it to renew, you can cancel from your account dashboard once your first 12 months are up.

Monthly subscriptions have a 3-month minimum term. After that, you can cancel any time from your account dashboard — no hoops, no phone calls — and your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.

Yearly subscriptions have a 12-month minimum term and renew automatically on your sign-up anniversary unless you cancel before then.

Gift subscriptions are a one-off payment, so there's nothing to cancel — they simply end after the last issue.

Yes! Schools can order between 3 and 30 copies each month, at a lower price per copy the more you order: £2.80 each for 3–9 copies, £2.50 for 10–19, and £2.20 for 20–30.

You can pay monthly, every 6 months or yearly, and the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period. If your school needs to pay by invoice, just email us at hello@thebeyondcomic.co.uk.
